Cataraqui Adventure Trek co-Race Director, Michelle McShane will be co-directing the Sydenham Fall Trail Run with ultra-trail runner Jen Pinarski

RACE DATE: Sunday, October 30, 2022

RACE START:

10:00 am (corner of Wheatley St and Point Road. Please do not block Wheatley Street until you are called to the start line).

RACE DAY KIT PICKUP/REGISTRATION:

(Race Day): 8:30-9:45am (Sydenham High School Cafeteria, 2860 Rutledge Rd, Sydenham, ON K0H 2T0)

RACE DISTANCE:

8km

RACE FEES:

Early Bird: $50 until August 1, 2022

Regular: $60 August 2-October 1, 2022

Late: $70 After October 1, 2022

NEW: Youth up to age 16 can race for $25!

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The start/finish line is located at the track in Sydenham. This picturesque 8km runs along the north shore of Sydenham Lake on the Cataraqui Trail. The course is relatively flat and fast with the exception of two small hills on the way out and two on the way back. The surface is a combination of 80% trail and 20% road. The turnaround is on Boyce Island, just past the bridge at Eel Bay.
Please note that there are a few homes on Boyce Island, so it is possible that you may meet a vehicle on the bridge, and on the last 200 meters of trail before turnaround. Please be cautious and courteous if you meet a car. Thank you!
